This important regulation guarantees product consistency, as we undertake many exacting processes to create each NUTRAscriptives® product.
Global Search: We search worldwide for the best raw ingredient sources, and take additional precautions to ensure that every ingredient manufacturer meets our quality standards. Through a 150-point inspection and audit, each process that takes place in the production of the raw ingredient is reviewed.
Quality Assurance: We recruit dedicated experts to specify, monitor and validate every product that is developed under the NUTRAscriptives® brand.
Country of Origin: For added assurance, we openly identify the country of origin for every ingredient that is included in a NUTRAscriptives® product.
We recognize that you have many options in choosing dietary supplements, but hope you will see the importance of selecting quality products that are founded on superior formulations and good manufacturing practices. As we strive for excellence, our goal is that you will find a renewed sense of health and well-being from choosing the NUTRAscriptives® product line.
Do I need dietary supplements?
This is a common question for many individuals, as our food supply is often considered to be a sufficient source for health-sustaining vitamins and minerals. Yet this belief may be a simple oversight, because quality food sources are becoming nutritionally exhausted. The use of herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, and overproduction of foods grown in nutrient depleted soils have lessened the nutritional content of our food. Furthermore, the average American diet that focuses on high-fat, sugary, refined foods leads to nutritional deficiencies that weaken immunity.
Most of us are familiar with the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA), and have been taught this represents the amount of nutrients that are required to maintain good health. However, the RDA is only the minimum requirement for avoiding diseases related to vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
The Journal of the American Medical Association reported the current American diet is inadequate to support optimal health:
Insufficient vitamin intake is apparently a cause of chronic disease. Recent evidence has shown that suboptimal levels of vitamins (below standard), even well above those causing deficiency syndromes, are risk factors for chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and osteoporosis. A large portion of the general population is apparently at increased risk for this reason.” 1,2
Nutritional supplementation is important to individuals of all ages that are seeking optimal health and well-being. With an increased interest in dietary supplementation, you can renew your quality of life today, and support healthy aging for the future.
