NUTRAscriptives® Vitamin D3 Bio Enhance is formulated to help patients get the most out of their Vitamin D supplement. Vitamin D, Vitamin K, with added cofactors, Boron and Zinc Picolinate, are thought to support bone and cardiovascular health while benefiting immune function.
Vitamin D3 plays an integral role in calcium metabolism, bone health, and immunity. Vitamin D3, an essential and fat-soluble vitamin, can be derived from exposure to sunshine, and may be difficult to obtain from dietary sources alone.
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) is a long chain vitamin supporting the deposition of calcium into bone and can also have a regulatory effect on Vitamin D by activating the proteins involved in osteoclast and osteoblast activity.
Zinc is involved in many biochemical pathways, including DNA and protein synthesis. It plays a critical role in growth and visual function, hearing, taste sensation, and immune function. Zinc can also have an anti-inflammatory effect. *
