Iron Chelate 30 mg is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Iron, a component of hemoglobin in red blood cells and myoglobin in muscles, is integral to the delivery of oxygen to tissues. Additionally, iron plays an important role in mitochondrial energy production and is required for physical and mental development.
Pregnant patients, those that experience heavy menstrual bleeding, and patients with gastrointestinal disorders, are all groups that can be at heightened risk for iron deficiency. Ferrochel® Iron amino acid chelate in ferrous form may be more soluble in the body, and chelates can limit gastrointestinal side effects. *
